Hello. I am Dr. Brittany Davis

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA) with nearly twenty years of social work practice experience. I earned my PhD in Social Work from the University of South Carolina and my Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan.

My clinical experience includes providing in-home therapy to children and adults with a history of family trauma, offering therapeutic support to children in a crisis shelter, and delivering multi-systemic therapy to youth and families involved with the criminal justice system. These experiences have given me a deep understanding of complex family dynamics, trauma, and resilience, as well as the ability to tailor interventions to meet the unique needs of each client.

I now specialize in working with adults and integrate a range of therapeutic approaches to best support their growth. My practice draws from Christian-Based Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while also incorporating Attachment Theory, Person-Centered Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I approach all of my work through a trauma-informed lens.

My practice focuses on the whole person, including their mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical well-being. I have a special passion for supporting leaders in managing their professional responsibilities while staying healthy. I also specialize in helping trauma survivors, as well as individuals navigating depression, anxiety, grief and loss, and major life or career transitions.

Beyond my clinical practice, I bring extensive experience as a social work educator and researcher. Outside of my professional work, I enjoy playing the drums and keyboard, which I've done for over 30 years.
