Greetings!

I am Deborah Simmons a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate. I am a proud graduate of North Caroliana Agricultural and Technical State University where I earned myBachelor of Social Work followed by a Master of Social Work from University of New England.

With 15 years of dedicated experience in the field of Social Work my background is rooted in Child Welfare and at-risk youth. As a spouse of a Military veteran, I have experienced thestruggles some veteran families may go through when transitioning from active duty to civilian life. This has cultivated a new passion to work with veterans and their families navigatetransitions. As a mom, I also have a strong passion for women struggling with everyday issues.

Throughout my career I remain passionate about helping individuals and families lead successful and purposeful lives. I believe in empowering my clients to build confidence and understand the importance of balance, order, and harmony in their lives. I am a strong advocate for social justice, ensuring that my practice aligns with the values of equity and fairness for all.

In my clinical practice, I utilize a range of therapeutic approaches, including solution focused therapy, person-centered therapy, strengths-based therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy. My approach is tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, fostering growth and positive change.
